In today's data-driven world the trend is often "more data is better" - complex dashboards that scream velocity and hustle. But, where privacy (GDPR) and ethical transparency are paramount, we must ask: Are we informing decisions or just dressing up the Emperor?

Join IIBA Romania Chapter and Banu Raghuraman for an engaging session that combines Human Factors Engineering and Visual Perception Psychology to dismantle the "vanity metrics" that plague modern business analysis

We will explore Gestalt Principles and Cognitive Load Theory to show how bad data visualization tricks the brain into seeing success where there is failure.

Let's discover how to design "truth-first" dashboards that respect the user’s cognitive bandwidth and align with the value of substance over hype.
